Tasting notes

Red colour. Intence grassy nose with hints of red currant, minerals and slight oak. Medium bodied in the mouth. Quite elegant with fine fruit, good acids, just a slight hint of oak and some tannins in the back. Dry and foo-friendly wine.

Red colour. Nose shows cedar, herbs, grass and a touch of black-currant and leather. Medium bodied in the mouth. Fine balance with good acids and light tannins. Quite herbacious fruit with some evolved notes. Lightly complex. A good food-wine drinking very fine right now.

Red transparent colour. Quite light. Herbacious nose. Evolved. Hints of stable and some floral notes. Light and mature Chinon in the mouth. Hints of red berries, herbs, light florality. Lightly complex. Fruit seems to be on the way down. Fine acidity. Acidic driven wine. Light tannins in the back. This is a very mature bottle on the way down. It is still a nice drink, but the nose is best now. Drink up.

Brick-red colour. Typical cabernet franc-nose of herbs, mint, grass and red berries. Some floral notes. Fine and evolved nose. Quite light Chinon in the mouth in a pure and quite elegant style. Pretty fruit. Obvious and clear cabernet franc, but not the greatest depth here. More simple and easy-going style. Fully mature now. Good acidity and little tannins in the back. Better than a bottle a few months ago with more life. Good wine that needs drinking now.
