Red colour. The nose shows anise, floral notes - typical silky pinot-fruit. Touch of raspberries. Medium bodied and a little light
Corton in the mouth. Young, yet open and available fruit. Quite silky and very fine. Cherries, flowers, some anise. Transparent style.
More easy-going and not that deep Corton. A touch loose in the structure. Medium acidity. Some tannins in the dry finish. Very good
wine and a nice Corton, but does not shows the flesh and depth of the Clos de Roi. The Marechaudes is possible to drink right now, but
would probably benefit from 1-2 years more in the cellar.
