Tasting notes

The Chateau de Selle is situated in Cotes de Provence, near Draguignan. It is owned by Domaines Ott, perhaps more famous for their Bandol-wines. Brick-red-blue colour. Only lightly bricking, but a very bluish hue. Evolved nose. Ripe, but quite pretty. Olives, provencal herbs, blackcurrant some florality. Fullbodied and very soft styled wine in the mouth. Lots of fruit. Ripe and mature. Spicey, herby fruit. Hints of olives and some cabernet-notes like blackcurrant. On top now. Quite interesting, although not that deep. Warm style with low acids. Very soft mouthfeel. Little tannins in the back. Medium length. Very good wine. Typical warm-style Provence-wine. Still very good.
