Straw colour. Fine and mineral nose of dark bread, chalk, some flowers and citrus. Quite fullbodied in the mouth with fine mousse.
Concentrated and more powerful than a Cote de blancs-champagne. But acidic and cool fruited. Fine complexity and quite a lot of
chalkiness. Long taste with citrus and chalk. A very fine effort and interesting wine.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: July-06
Straw colour, quite fine mousse. More methode traditionelle than cremant-style. Fine and mineral nose with hints of stone and
chalk. Some high-notes of flowers. Dry in the mouth with more concentration than normal for a Champagne. Slightly fatter. But good
structure and cleansing acids. Fine mineral-driven fruit. Good length. This is very good indeed and fine for the price.
