Tasting notes

This is a very good Mosel-wine in the feinherb-style and typical Hofberger with it's slightly earthiness and very fine depth. Straw/greenish colour. The nose shows hints of earth, minerals, bitter flowers and slight petrol and blackcurrant. Opens up better with air to show some fine depth and minerality. Medium bodied and feinherb-like balance in the mouth. Very good balance. Fine concentration. Fruit not as open as in the nose. More citrusy and young. Some minerality and earth showing. Good acidity and length. A little too young. Give it 3-5 more years.
