Tasting notes
Degorged August-2006. This was a fullbodied, yet finely balanced Champagne. But rather rustic than elegant with it's fruit dominated
by long aging on the lees. Straw, slightly browning colour. The nose shows yest, biscuits, citrus and faded flowers. Fullbodied
Champagne in the mouth. Pinot noir-dominated with hints of biscuits, lots of yeast-notes and citrus. Fine, but lacking some depth.
Quite rustic style. Fine and refreshing acidity. Long citrusy taste. Drinks well now.
