Tasting notes

Yellow colour. Pretty nose. Still slightly reductive and not fully opened. Hints of slate, minerality, citrus. Quite complex. A touch of honey. Fullbodied and typically sweetish Mosel-spätlese in the mouth. A firm and crisp taste. Highly mineral Karthäuserhofberg. Cool, stoney minerality. Almost rainwater-feel. Slate and citrus. Still very young. Fine acidity and a long mineral finish. Great wine, but needs 5 more years.
