Deep yellow colour. Nice nose which needed some time in the
decanter before it took off. But then it exploded with
intence and complex wet forest and mushroom-aromas. With
hints of slate, leafy, minty notes and some lemon.
Full-bodied in the mouth. Quite dry (10% alc.) with a
slight sweet edge. Very high acidity as this vintage did
give. Giving it a lemony taste. Clearly a wine for food.
But concentration is great and the mushroomy and minty
flavours are complex. Showing a wine that is at it's peak.
Long taste. Great halbtrocken riesling that reminds me more
of Ruwer than MittelMosel.
