Yellow/greenish colour. The complex and intence nose shows honey, green leafs, mineral and slight floral notes. In the mouth this is
powerful and rich in extract. Concentrated fruit, complex and manages to be quite mineral despite this weight. The structure is also
fine with good acids for this grape. Good length. This is a big but well balanced silvaner with complexity and mineral depth. Very
fine indeed. Drinking fine now, but will probably gain with another 2-3 years of cellaring.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Aug-06
Deep yellow colour. Pretty nose. Very intense and lightly ripe. Mineral, paint, bitter flowers and some apricot. Shows some evolvement.
Powerful wine in the mouth. Round taste and light fatness. Apricot, minerality and light ripe character in the fruit. Medium acids. The
finish is bitingly mineral and long. It balances the alcohol. Very interesting wine.
