Tasting notes

This is a fullbodied Etna with some fine floral notes, but also a little too much oak for me personally. Dark, violet-red colour. Sweetish and floral nose that shows hints of oak, dark berries and ash. Fullbodied Etna-wine in the mouth. Quite ripe fruit with some sweetness. Fine concentration. Also fine and cooler floral notes. The oak is a bit too obvious for me, it gives off some more sweetness and also adds some hardness in the back. Medium acids. Dry and quite hard tannic and a little woody end. Give it time and hope the oak integrates better.

Dark red colour. Modern made intense and fruity Etna on the nose. But it is pretty. Hints of dark berries, fine floral high-notes, some ash and apparent oak-notes. A bit sweetish. Powerful and concentrated wine in the mouth. There is lot of oak here, but also dark berries, anise and fine floral high-notes. This has some depth, but a little too much oak for me. The oak has integrated and this is better than the previous bottle. Medium acids and a tannic finish that shows some hard woody notes. Very good wine that should be enjoyed for the fine fruit and depth.
