Tasting notes

Deep brick-red colour. Pretty nose. Clean and grape-typical. A touch ripe, but not much. Hints of tar, anise, cherries. Slightest touch of VA. Fine high-notes. Lots of fruit in the mouth. Concentrated and fullbodied style. Yet a little softer than one expects. In the mouth it reveals a highly clear and grape-typical wine. Lots of tar, anise and tobacco-notes. Light florality. Not too deep. Rather concentrated and simple style. Medium acidity. Some tannins on the dry finish. Not the most complex spanna, but a nice and very grape-typical wine. Very good for the price. Drink now and the next 5-10 years.

Deep red colour. The nose shows lots of fruit. Lightly warm and dried style. Red berries, smoke, asphalt. Some florality. Powerful nebbiolo di spanna in the mouth. Lots of fruit. Slightly dried style, but typical nebbiolo-notes of smoke, asphalt, red fruits. Some depth, but this is a more easy-going and powerful style. Quite appealing. Medium acids, a little low for grape and area. Tannic end. This drinks well now with a little air. Or age it 2-3 more years. Very good.
