Tasting notes

This was a massive sangiovese that showed the sweetness of a wine made with governo. Are they still using this process? Deep red colour. Sweet plummy nose with hints of cherries, and fine floral high notes. Some hints of tobacco and almonds. Fullbodied and concentrated sangiovese in the mouth. Fruit is quite massive and a bit sweet. Sweetish with some hints of oak. The wine is structured and young. Good acidity. Tight finish. Fine for the price, but this lacks a little bit of depth right now. Needs time. Try again in 5 years and hope it shows more.
