This was from a magnum and tasted over four days. It was best on day 3. The nose showed fine underripe notes of quince, which I find
very typical of Nikolaihof. Also hints of spices, minerals and little perfume. Quite light federspiel in the mouth, yet the fruit
remains quite intense. Hints of quince and shows some more minerality. Perhaps not the most concentrated vintage. Fine acidity and
medium length. Fine food-wine. Drinks very fine now, but was a little closed the first night.
