Tasting notes

Deep red colour with lightly browning rim. Complex, earthy and mineral nose. Hints of dried roses, cherries, coffee. Powerful Gattinara in the mouth. Much fruit that is starting to shows tertiary notes. Fine acidity. Powerful tannic structure. This wine is built to last. So this can take on more years. But very good already now. Great wine for the price.

Deep brick-red colour. Some browning at the rim. Mineral smell with hints of roses, tar, bitter almonds, hazelnuts, cherries. Powerful structure in the mouth. Good mineral fruitiness. Mature aromas. Good acidity and much tannins in the back. Good length. Excellent foodwine. A bit less complex than the last bottle though. There has been a huge bottle-variation of this wine.
