Tasting notes

Yellow colour. Complex nose with hints of lychee, naphtalene, apricot, minerals. In th emouth this is a fullbodied Gewurztraminer with good balance for the grape. Fine concentration and seems perhaps less evolved than the nose. More spice and hints of rosewater. Off-dry style. Slight sweetness. Alcohol a little showing in the finish. Low acidity. Good length. Drinks fine now, but can age. Very fine Gewurztraminer.

This is a fine and mature gewurztraminer that still shows the typicity of this grape. Which also means there is a limit to the balance and depth. But this is probably as good as a dryish gewurztraminer gets. Yellow colour. Fine aromatic nose with hints of dried roses, spices, some earthiness and light lychee. Fullbodied and tasting off-dry in the mouth. Slight fat upfront. Fine hints of spice, dried roses and light earth. Evolved. Still the depth here has it's limits. Medium acidity and length. Drink now.
