Tasting notes

From a half-bottle. Yellow colour. Not that deep for grauburgunder. Fine nose. Lots of volcanic hints. Ash, salt, anise. Light yellow fruits. Dried flowers. Some complexity here. Dry grauburgunder in the mouth. Fullbodied, but slim in style. Mature fruit. Typical Kaiserstuhl-aromatics with hints of ash, salt and anise. Quite cool grauburgunder. Some yellow fruits, but acidic and almost anemic finish. Light dry-extract on the finish. Very good wine that has kept well. On top now. Good food-wine.
