Tasting notes

Yellow/green colour. Shows some botrytis in the nose with hints of honey, raisins, tropical fruits and some earth. Slightly fat in the start of the mouth. Good concentration. Sweet and honeyed, shows some slate. Young and promising. Raw acids. High in malic acids. Long taste of green apple-peel. Not for the faint of heart. But a very good wine if you can tolerate the acids. I like it a lot. Great QPR.

Yellow colour. The nose shows honey, some botrytis, lots of fruit; quite tropical and some citrusy elements. Fullbodied and sweet riesling auslese in the mouth. A touch fat in the front of the taste-curve. Lots of residual sugar. Pure and fruity style. A little tropical. The wine is tied together with a great and refreshing acidity. Quite acidic finish and also a little spritz in the mouth. Citrusy finish. Great wine. Great buy.

Yellow colour. A little shy nose. Slate, some botrytis, honey. Thick and sweet auslese in the mouth with very high acidity. Despite the obvious high oechsle-weight this seems shy of fruit. Perhaps the fruit is a bit faded? Botrytis and slate-notes. Slight tropical notes and citrus. High and raw acidity. Good length. Fair quality. Better some years ago. Disappointing.
