This wine is blended from 3-4 different vintages. It is the winemaker Hans Haas attempt to copy the style of a modern Napa Valley
Sauvignon blanc. My first though on tasting this wine was sauvignon blanc, so he has succeeded with that. I later found out the
actual blend is huxelrebe and riesling. Straw/greenish colour. Leafy and a little herbacious nose with some fine hints of
yellow fruits. Dry wine in the mouth. Fair concentration. Fruity and a bit leafy. Simple. Hints of gooseberry-leafs. Some stoney
minerality. Decent acidity. Alcohol too prominent on the finish. Medium length. Modest quality and very forgettable.
