Tasting notes

Yellow colour. Nose shows petrol, honey and slate. Fullbodied spätlese in the mouth. Quite sweet style. Fruit has good concentration and shows petrol and honey. Some green apples in the finish. Seems mature, but doesn't show much depth or complexity. Medium length. Perhaps try again in a year or two.

Quite deep yellow colour. The fine nose shows petrol, orange and some mint. Fullbodied spätlese in the mouth. Quite sweet and traditional style. More mineral here with hints of mint and citrus. A bit hollow in the middle and still lacking that final depth I was hoping for. Fine acidity and better length than the previous bottle. Still not a great wine.

Yellow colour. Petrol in the nose. Hints of minerality and some wet forest floor. Fullbodied and sweet spätlese in the mouth. Good concentration, but a bit simple fruit. Quite traditional style. Much petrol in the fruit. Evolved some fine wet forest floor-nuances but still lacking that depth. Decent length with some citrus in the finish.
