This bottle was fine when I boguht it, but had suddenly started to leak. Upon opening it showed a deep amber colour. The nose showed
oxidation, slight touch of caramel/burnt sugar. Fine earthy, flowery hints underneath. Some honey. Ripe '71. Powerful and sweet
'71 spätlese in the mouth. Big styled with lots of earthy, honeyed hints. Decent acidity and length. Unfortunately with a little too
much oxidation. Better bottles could be interesting, if not great.
