Tasting notes

This bottle had a little low fill. Light brown-red colour. Shy nose. Touch raisins, oxidation. With air it shows a light florality. Dry and acidic in the mouth. Light fruit. Very mature and fading. Hints of stones and a faint, but very fine floral note. Touch of candied fruits. High acids and little tannins left. Try another bottle.,

Light brown-red colour. Autumn-leafs, earth, ash on the nose. Medium bodied spätburgunder in the mouth. Seems very dry, but it has this glyceric feeling that makes me believe it might have had some residual sugar once. The fruit is very mature. Surprisingly much ash-notes, which perhaps is a bit unusual in pinot noir. Hints of autumn leafs, earthiness. A little rustic and raw style. Not the elegance one is used to from this grape. Medium acids. The finish shows a tad bitterness and rounded tannins. Very mature, but still drinkable. Much better than the first bottle.

Third bottle was a realy fine one. This is starting to get a really good wine. Light brown-red colour. Pretty and complex nose. Forest-floor, mushrroms, volcanic. Slight florality. Not the most intense nose. Light and very mature spätburgunder in the mouth. Acidic balance. Mature fruit. Complex, lots of mushrooms, forest-floor. Some florality. Clear style, although the fruit probably on the way down. Fine acidity. Refreshing. Little tannins left. Slight bitterness on the citrusy finish. Very good bottle.

Light transparent black-red colour. Quite intense nose. Vulcanic, complex with a fine core of bright red fruits and light floral notes. In the mouth this is a very light spätburgunder. Dry and acidic. The glycerin is noticeable, so I guess this has had some residual sugars that has been rounded off now. It has a fragile and very elegant fruit, true to this climate. Yet the aromatics may seem more brutal with hints of ash and bryophyte. Some mushrooms. The acidity is high and refreshing, making it a good food-wine. Little tannins. This is an exciting, fragile and very hard-to-like-style of wine. Different from anything named pinot noir. Yet there is no denying it is true to its terroir and shows well-aged complex flavours.
