The 2000 riesling -S.-bottling was from the Kronsberg-vineyard. It is a heavy riesling, not as mineral, but still complex and fine. A
bit different than what I expected from Wirsching. It has a deep yellow colour. Fine and intense nose of botrytis, honey, petrol,
some earth. Fullbodied riesling spätlese in the mouth. Off-dry or feinherb in style with a heavy and sweet fruit with hints of honey,
botrytis and petrol. Clean botrytis for the vintage. Some fine hints of faded flowers. Nice fruits, but lacks the mineral depth of
the Julius-Echter-berg. Fine acidity in the balance. Good length. Drinking fine now.
