Amber colour. The nose shows an old-fashioned riesling with quite some botrytis. Hints of tea-leafs, old wood, tobacco, dried flowers.
Lots of depth, but not the cleanest and most focused of wines. Fullbodied, rustic and sweet riesling in the mouth. But also a lot of dry-extract
and bitter-notes. Mature fruit. Lots of tobacco, dried flowers, botrytis. Mineral background. Still good fruit. But seems very mature
now. Probably slightly on the way down. Some tea-leaves on the finish. Dry finish with light tannins and dry-extract. Good, more than
great.
