Yellow colour. The nose is very closed at first. Opens up with a couple of hours in the carafe. Shows chalk, sweet bread, flowers
and wild strawberries. Fullbodied silvaner in the mouth. Some sweetness, feinherb-style. Fine fruit, chalky, sweet bread. Starting
to evolve. Medium concentration. Not the fullest auslese. Fine acidity. The alcohol a little high in the finish. Gives the wine a
kind of rustic edge. Still I like the fruit here very much.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Jan-08
Yellow-green colour. Fine nose. Chalky, mineral with hints of green leafs and strawberries. Shows some development. Fullbodied silvaner
in the mouth. Light fatness and a touch of residual sugar. Still quite slim and refreshing style. Clear and fine fruit. Chalky and
hints of woodland strawberries. Fine acidity and good length. Som alcohol and light bitterness on the finish. Very good.
