Straw colour. Wit air this developed a fine nose; herbal, yet fruity. More red than white. Mostly like wild strawberries and with
fine hints of chalk. In the mouth this was a medium bodied and dry silvaner with fine concentration for a QbA. Quite a lot of chalk
and herbal notes. Quite elegant. Fine acids and length. Fine foodwine. Very good silvaner QbA indeed. Drinking very fine now and
good for the price.
Arnt Egil Nordlien Tasting note: Oct-06
This silvaner showed a nice and sweet nose. In the mouth it was a little young and I suggest giving it a couple of more years. Straw
colour. Nose is typical for silvaner, but also shows some more sweetness. Hints of strawberries, green flowers, chalk. Medium
bodied and dry silvaner in the mouth. Not as concetrated fruit as expected from the sweet nose. Rather dry and light-feathered. Again
there is that hint of strawberries and some fine chalk. Fruit seems a little young and unevolved. The acidity is fine and this has a
good length. Fine food-wine. With air it shows some more stucture and more of the fruit. This is a fine, but not great, slivaner that
is still on the young side.
