Tasting notes

Straw colour. Fine and complex nose. Hints of flowers, wild strawberries, botrytis, sweet bread. Powerful wine in the mouth. Very concentrated weissburgunder. Some sweetness noticable. Still very fine balance with refreshing acids. A great 2003. The fruit is highly complex. Perhaps the most complex pinot blanc I have tasted. Hints of flowers, botryties, sweet bread, botrytis, some chalk. Good length. Great wine, and one of the best pinot blancs I have tasted.

Straw colour. Intense and appealing nose. Sweetish flowers, chalk, minerality. Citrus. Fullbodied weissburgunder in the mouth. A touch of residual sugar. Obviously quite ripe with some fatness. Chalky and mineral weissburgunder. Hints of sweet flowers and lots of minerality. The fruit seems cooler than expected. Very fine and lightly evolved. Good acidity for this vintage. Fine wine with a pretty balance between acidity and sweetness. Intense and interesting fruit. Some fatness. Drinks well now, but still on the young side. Great wine.
