Tasting notes

Deep red colour. Intense and fruity nose. Dark berries, cherries and obvious sweet and vegetal oak-notes. But also fine floral high-notes and some tuscan earth. Powerful, almost violent wine in the mouth. International style. Concentrated and loads of dark berried-notes and hints of oak. Fine hints of sangiovese; earth, cherries and lightly high notes. Quite round wine with fair acidity and a little high alcohol in the finish. SOme tannins show and this needs time to smooth out. A little ripe super-tuscan style with the classical amount of oak, but with fine and typical hints of the sangiovese-grape. Very good. Try again in 4-5 years.
