Tasting notes

This is a very fine monovarietal from the Corvina-grape. There is much taste in it, but it is lacking perhaps a little depth. Deep red colour. The nose shows morelloes, wet earth, black olives and light hints of floral high notes. Fullbodied, juicy and concentrated wine in the mouth. Quite fruity style with some oak that is well integrated. Morelloes and wet earth being most prominent. Structured style for corvina with fine acidity and still quite a lot of tannins in the back. Good length. This seems mature now and there is no reason to hold longer. But this seems to have the structure to go on for at least five years.
