This was a very fine if different approach of nebbiolo. The transparancy and typical nebbiolo-notes and structure can remind me a bit
of Gattinara, but the very mineral approach and the slateyness makes it very different. Red colour. Nose shows some sweetness. Lots
of slate, tar, red berries and some anise. Remarkably mineral for a nebbiolo and very transparent style. Fullbodied and structured
nebbiolo in the mouth with good concentration. Again highly transparent and seems slim even though the fruit has some sweetness. Lots
of slate-notes, almost petrol, and tar. Some anise. Fine acidity and a tannic end. Young, but drinkable. Will last. Great wine.
