Yellow grape grown for a long time in the Eastern Veneto
and a lot appreciated earlier. Today only used as a
blending-component in lesser content in the Colli di
Conegliano DOC, Bagnoli di Sopra DOC and Colli Euganei DOC.
But not mentioned in any of these appelations. The grape is
said to give of intence scents. Used often in sparkling wines.
The synonym Champagna is sometimes used.
