This mature Minervois was still alive. Mature, but with no oxidation. Unfortunately not too cleanly made. Deep red colour. Brownish
rim and quite transparent. Nose shows lots of citrus-notes, some spice and slight flowers. Unfortunately also a not too clean
woodiness. Medium bodied wine in the mouth. Fruit is very mature, but no oxidation. Quite citrusy and refreshing with a fine
spiciness. But again this not too clean style. Fine acidity and very little tannin left. A bit short on the finish. Gains a little
with air.
