Tasting notes

This was an expressive version of this wine. It is highly fruity and shows riper than other vintages, yet it is a quite complex wine that drinks well now. Deep red colour. Fine and fruity nose. Cherry-stones, rasberries. Hints of anise, minerality and slight tar. Fine body and good concentration. Fruit is slightly sweetish and ripe. Fine acidity and light tannins in the back. Decent structure. Drinks well now. Fine wine for the price.

Red colour. Fruity nose with hints of rasberries, flowers and citrus. Some slight oxydative notes. Medium bodied wine in the mouth. Not the toughest Morgon. Good concentration of fruit. Red berried and floral. Expressive style. But also a hint of oxydation and a slight bitterness in the finish. Good acidity. Little tannins in the end. The fruit shows a little better with air, but this bottle never lives up to the previous bottle. Still a decent bottle.
