This wine was always rated as one of the better wines from
the Novara, but strangely never received a DOC-zone.
Light brick colour. Red core. Leathery nose, with hints
of light high notes roses, cherries and coffee. Perhaps
like a light Ghemme. Medium bodied in the mouth. Mature
fruit and quite acidic mouthfeel. Hints of cherries, leather
and some roses. Structurally lighter than most Novara-wines
with fine acids and light tannins. Mature wine - perhaps
better a few years ago. Drink up.
