This was a very fine and mature Nuits-St-Georges. Highly typical. If my understanding is correct this was Robert Chevillon's first
vintage alone at the domaine (or second?). Brick-red colour. Browning rim. Fine nose with hints of earth, leather and fine floral
high notes. Medium bodied and mature Nuits-St.-Georges with a very fine, complex and evolved fruit. Structured style with good
acidity. Surprisingly refreshing. Some tannins in the citrusy finish. Very food-friendly and mature burgundy. On top, drink now.
