It is often said that this green grape is identical to
biancame, but new information tells it is not so. The grape
may give a varietal-wine under Abruzzo's new multi-DOC
Controguerra. In the Marche it is used as a
blending-component in the Rosso Piceno and Falerio dei
colli Ascolani DOC.
