Deep red colour. At first the nose is quite closed. Opens up with 3-4 hours of air. Anise-notes, raspberries, pretty floral high-notes.
Slight touch of greenness. Fullbodied in the mouth. This has a lot more flesh and concentration than the Les Vergelesses. Finer fruit
and a lot more depth. Pretty mouthfeel. The fruit is very young, but opens up a little with air. Tight, primary and floral. Needs
another 3-4 years. Fine acidity. Kinder finish than the Les Vergelesses, still it is tight and tannic. Very good wine and the most
closed of Chandon de Briailles’ reds from 2006.
