Straw colour. Quite light. Loads of botrytis on the nose. Smoke and blackcurrant. Fine minerality. Some development. Powerful
auslese in the mouth. Light fatness and lots of botrytis showing. Not the nicest sort of botrytis. This brings in a lot of
earthy elements and hints of tea-leafs. Lots of bitterness, especially on the finish. The fruit has a nice smokey minerality and
typical hints of blackcurrant. Not so sweet as expected in the mouth. Medium acidity and a bitterness on the finish. Fair enough
quality, but disappointing for this normally great producer.
