Tasting notes

Lightly golden colour. Fine nose with hints of honey and minerality. Light earthiness and a touch of dried flowers. Off-dry riesling in the mouth with quite ripe and rich fruit. Notes of honey and a fine minerality. Quite good depth. Still a bit on the young side. Good acidity, not the highest for this grape. Good length. Very good wine. Try again in 3-4 years.

Yellow colour. Pretty nose. Fruity and quite sweetish with hints of quince, sweet apples, citrus and minerality. Perhaps a tad simple. Fullbodied in the mouth. Light residual sugar in this spätlese from Busch. Fine evolved quince-like fruit with hints of sweeter apples. Some minerality in the background. But this lacks a little depth. Round and kind wine with medium acidity and the light sweetness. Good length. Good, more than a great bottle.
