Tasting notes

This was a great amarone and the best Bertani I have tasted. It has a great balance and still shows a lot of fruit. Deep red colour. Light browning at the rim. Fine and complex nose. Some hints of old woods, dust, but also a fine perfume and lots of dried red fruits. Cherries being most prominent. Some raisins, very light VA. Fullbodied amarone in the mouth. Still shows some elegance. Concentrated fruit, matured and complex. Still a core of red fruit; kirsch and a fine florality. Medium acidity and alcohol not noticable. A little tannin in the finish. Long taste. On top now, but has the fruit to age further.
