This wine started off very mute and I though it dead. But with
a couple of hours in the decanter this turned into a very
fine and alive bottle indeed.
Deep red colour. Lightly browning rim. Nose showed first
dark berries and leather. With time more ashy minerals, tar
and some tobacco. Full-bodied in the mouth and soft style
with low acids and noticable alcohol. Dry tannic end. Decent
length. Fine and mature wine with much life in it.
