Tasting notes

Yellow colour. Complex nose with hints of honey, naphtalene, flowers, liquorice, some botrytis. Powerful and dry wine in the mouth. Quite mature fruit. More wooly and mineral. Salty and typical Savennieres. Refreshing wine with high acidity. Also high alcohol in the finish, leaving a bitterness on the finish. Good length. Nice wine, but not a great Savennieres.

Yellow colour. Lightly floral nose with hints of minerals, nuts, coffee and acidic candies. Powerful wine in the mouth. Seems quite mature with a fine mineral fruit. Pure and typical Savennieres. Salty with hints of wool and acidic candies. Quite high acids and a long taste. Nice wine. Quite different from the previous bottle.

Yellow colour. Complex and typical nose, perhaps a bit shy. Hints of anise, dried flowers, salty minerality. Fullbodied, dry and acidic wine in the mouth. Quite obvious and transparent chenin blanc. Little to no botrytis. Evolved fruitiness. Hints of anise, fine minerality. Not the most intense Savennieres. Fine acids. Long mineral finish. This has evolved fine and is a nice little Savennieres.
