Tasting notes

This is a very fine schilchersekt. But as normal with these sekts, there is a little less depth than the still version of the Hochgrail. Light red transparent colour. Quite deep for a schilcher. Mousse not the finest. Fruity and refreshing nose. Current, rasberries, citrus. A little candied. Slight mineral. Fullbodied and concentrated Schilchersekt in the mouth. Dry and refreshing style. Acidic and clean. Lots of fresh red berries and citrus. A slight minerality and depth, but not much. Long clean taste. This is a very fine wine for a hot day. Serve cold.
