Copper-brown colour, greenish at the rim. Intense nose. Lots of caramel, dried flowers, bitterness – like tea-leafs and also a pretty
perfume. Powerful and fat Riesling in the mouth. Lots of concentration and fruit. But the fruit is not very pretty. Bitter and with
clear hints of rot. Caramel, dried flowers and some fine perfumed notes buried in there. Low acids and bitter finish. Typically big
and bold as most ’76. It has depth, but the rot is the most obvious now. Stay away.
