Tasting notes

Sweet and a little oaky nose. Hints of coffee. Dark berries. Fullbodied and modern made spätburgunder with sweet fruits and coffee-notes. The oaking is showing, but the balance is fair. Could have had some more depth and minerality. It is a structured wine, but not disturbed by hard edges as so many spätburgunders are. This is a seemless wine in the making. Fine acidity. Some dryness and tannins in the back. Good length. Very good wine if you can tolerate the modern style.
