Deep yellow colour. Intense and ripe nose. Honey, lightly tropical notes, stoney and loads of minerality. Powerful and dry Riesling in
the mouth. Lots of ripe fruits. Honey and tropical elements. Yet this remains mineral in it’s approach with huge depth and lots of
interest. It is a almost violently overwhelming wine with good acidity that perhaps comes a bit in the background in the balance. Good
length. Really a great Wachau Riesling smaragd from this vintage. A huge success.
