Tasting notes

This is a very fine riesling from an underrated vineyard and producer. It is a highly mineral style and the wine suits this balance perfectly. Straw colour. Very fine and slatey nose. Mineral complex with hints of flowers and yellow fruits. Slight touch of petrol. Mineral and slim wine in the mouth. Dry style, especially for a halbtrocken with refreshing and high acidity. Medium bodied, hints of flowers and some fruit. Lots of minerality, but younger than on the nose. Not as evolved and complex. Good length. Starts to be drinkable, but I would hold another 3 years.
