Amber colour. The nose shows hints of sweet flowers, some honey and caramel. Fullbodied spätlese in the mouth. Still lots of fruit and
sweetness. Quite rustic. Hints of sweet flowers, citrus, honey, old woods. Obviously Rheingau. But this seems to lack minerality and
depth. Which I find too often in wines from Steinberger. The structure is good. Fine acids and good length. Good, more than great.
