Blue friulian grape that has it's own appelation as a
varietal-wine under Carso DOC. Also found in Emilia-Romagna
under the name Cagnina. The names Refosco del
Carso and Refosco d'Istria is also sometimes used,
and the grape has some relations with refosco dal penducolo
rosso. The terrano gives fruity wines with a little more
noticable tannins.
