This was a beautiful bottle. Clean label, no ullage, cork in great shape. The colour is deep red, but lighter at the rim. The nose
shows leather and cherries. With some airing more cabernet sauvignon-notes of lead-pencil, blackcurrant and also liqourice is obvious.
In the mouth the wine shows good body. Nice fruit with medium concentration. Quite fruity with cherries and liqourice. Shows more
fruit with time. The high acids are typical of the sangiovese. The drying tannins in the back more cabernet sauvignon-like. Good
wine on top now. I would not suggest further aging.
