I believe this wine was recently relesased after about 8 years on casks. The wine has a deep brick colour with some browning at the
rim. Smell of oak, earth, cherries. Quite typical of sangiovese but also quite a lot of hints of old oak. Powerful in the mouth.
Tight wine with good acidity. Much oak which dominates over the fruit-flavours right now. Hints of minerals and earth. Some
complexity. Some tannins in the back. Medium length. Drinks well now but will probably age for a long time.
